JUPITER, Fla. — SST PURE®, the company that created PUREing -- a proprietary shaft alignment process that analyzes a golf shaft to find its most stable orientation -- continued its professional TOUR dominance and captured a Major Championship, extending its winning streak to 21 consecutive events on the PGA and Champions Tours combined during the 2009 season.

Victories at the Buick Open and the Senior U.S. Open brings the total number of wins by PUREd players to 29 in 2009. Moreover, golfers who have used the SST PURE Shaft Alignment technology in their clubs have earned more than $116 million on the PGA TOUR this year.

Furthermore, Fred Funk, who captured his first Major victory at the Senior U.S. Open, also has an extensive history of asking SST to PURE his clubs, dating back to his Players Championship win a few years ago.

Using proprietary computer software and sensitive data-acquisition sensors, the SST PURE shaft alignment process analyzes the structural irregularities that exist to some degree in every golf shaft and locates the shaft's most stable orientation. By assembling the club with the shaft in its PURE orientation, off-line bending and twisting of the shaft are minimized and impact repeatability on the center of the clubface by the golfer improves up to 51 percent. The process can be performed on existing clubs, new clubs or new shafts - steel or graphite - from most major manufacturers.
