JUPITER, Fla. —The patented SST PURE® Shaft Alignment System currently used by more than 200 professional golfers on the PGA, Champions and European Tours is now available for the first time to golfers on the European continent. Strategic Shaft Technologies, L.C., announced today the addition of Geneva Golf Academy SA., located in the heart of Geneva, Switzerland, as its newest licensee to provide game-enhancing SST PURE technology. Geneva Golf Academy will be the first international SST licensee to use the new automated PURE SPECS® shaft alignment and analysis system.

Established in 2007 by native Australian pro golfer Rohan Throssell, Geneva Golf Academy has quickly established itself as the place to go in Switzerland for the ultimate fitting and teaching experience. “Geneva Golf Academy’s reputation is now well known by Swiss golfers for providing our customers with the finest products and services,” Throssell said. “We count amongst our clientele several current Tour players and we are very excited that we have been chosen as a licensee to offer the SST PUREing services to our Swiss and other European customers. Using proprietary computer software and sensitive data-acquisition sensors, the SST PURE® shaft alignment process analyzes the structural irregularities that exist to some degree in every golf shaft and locates the shaft’s most stable orientation. By assembling the club with the shaft in its SST PURE® orientation, off-line bending and twisting of the shaft are minimized and impact repeatability on the center of the clubface by the golfer improves measurably. The process can be performed on existing clubs, new clubs or new shafts — steel or graphite — from all major manufacturers.
