30 Oct Where to Get Your Golf Shafts PUREd
You can get shafts SST PUREd at any Club Champion studio and at authorized SST PURE club builders. Genuine PUREing requires an SST PURE machine, so it can’t be done by hand or with a spine-finding tool. Use the location finder to see the nearest option.
Where PUREing is available
- Club Champion studios. All 160+ Club Champion studios offer SST PURE on new builds and retro-PUREs of existing clubs.
- Authorized SST PURE builders. Find one near you with the SST PURE fitter locator.
When to get it done
- During a fitting. The best time to PURE is when your new clubs are built. It costs less per shaft than a retro-PURE, and your shafts are installed in their PURE orientation from day one.
- Before the season. If you’re retro-PUREing clubs you already own, plan ahead. 10 business days is typical, and spring is the busiest time of year.
What to ask before you book
- Is it SST PURE? Spine alignment and FLO are different methods. Read the difference.
- New build or retro-PURE? Prices differ: $60 per shaft on a new build, $140 for a retro-PURE.
- How long will it take? A retro-PURE typically takes about 10 business days.
- Do you have an adjustable driver? Tell the builder which setting you play. Read why it matters.
- Will my specs stay the same? They should. Length, loft, lie and swing weight are rebuilt to match.
How to tell a shaft is PUREd
PUREd shafts carry an SST PURE label. The sticker is usually a round white and blue sticker right below the grip on the back side of the shaft
